Austin Ribs
Austin Ribs has amazingly friendly staff, really comfy chairs, outdoor seating and an option of 2G or 5G wifi to connect to. Located in the Sai Yuan area of Rawai, this cafe serves up some great western style meals from 10am. What’s nice is, there is no time limit on how long you stay here. I’ve stayed and worked for hours as long as I kept ordering drinks and food.
The downside? Their coffee isn’t stellar. I personally don’t rate the coffee here but their fresh juices, smoothies and milkshakes are delicious. Their Pad Kha Prow is delicious and fresh, their chicken Caesar salad is full of flavour and their breakfast pancakes are thick and perfect. They work hard on customer service and it definitely shows. It’s not the most aesthetic of cafes but it’s clean and has a lovely vibe even if you’re the only person there sometimes.
Beach Coconut Bowls
Beach Coconut Bowls is one for if you need a quiet working space or if you’re wanting to make a call to a loved one at a wifi cafe in Rawai. There are limited seats and its outdoors but undercover. I’ve been here during a monsoon and stayed perfectly dry. If you’re a health food kind of person or love a boho aesthetic, this is the cafe for you. It’s very cute, very instagammable and very private.
It’s a great place to do quiet work from or make important calls outside your home or hotel room. It definitely has a big island feel and it’s lovely to get to look at the beautiful swimming pool and pet their friendly but large dog. The owner is very sweet and kind and their coffee is dark but good quality. I never leave here without a thousand aesthetic pictures. Check if it’s open before you head there though, because it’s sometimes closed!
Cup Cafe
Probably the best of both worlds, this quiet, cute cafe is aesthetic AND has great food. Cup Cafe is located in between Rawai and Nai Harn so it’s easy to access from either of these places. Plus, it has a fantastic and pretty play area for kids upstairs. If you’ve got kids to entertain but need to call home or get some work done, this is a really great choice. Despite having a kids play area, it’s not too loud and they have wonderful coffee. The food is on the pricier side, but it’s worth the money for the great working environment.
Boho decor, light interior, great food and they are really flexible with how long you work there. It’s a pretty good choice for a good wifi coffee shop in Rawai.
