This adorable Aussie style breakfast cafe can be found right on the beachfront of Rawai with an amazing view of the calm ocean, palm trees, long tail boats, fishermen and stunning little islands dotted around. It’s common to see tuk tuks and local merchants driving past in their 3 wheeled mopeds, just a glimpse of the stunning part of the island that is Rawai.

Rock Salt Restaurant is part of the Nai Harn hotel and is situated right on Nai Harn beach. It’s very casual and laid back (although the prices aren’t) but if you love a good meal that makes you feel like you’re basically inside the ocean, then this is a pretty good shout.
Their breakfast menu is very simple and limited. They have 6 breakfast choices and a few pastries and coffees. The ingredients are good quality though so it’s a solid choice for a Western breakfast in Rawai – just as long as you’re not wanting anything out of the ordinary for breakfast.
Rawai View
Rawai View is a cool little spot and a fantastic place to grab a Western breakfast in Rawai. With arguably the best view in Rawai (I guess it’s in the name), the coolest vibes and this tiki decor thing going on, this is a spot you won’t want to miss. They have 3 floors, one on the beach level, one with nets that hang over the ocean and the upper level that lets you see all of Rawai beach and beyond. It’s a truly breathtaking view and it’s honestly worth a visit just for that.
But, their food does the trick too. There aren’t LOADS of options but there are some solid breakfast and brunch choices such as avo toast, eggs benedict, a tiki breakfast, bacon and eggs and a few smoothie bowls. The ingredients are good quality, the bacon is imported (which is weirdly important when you’re looking for a good Western breakfast in Rawai) and the view makes the food taste better than it is. Their coffee is average but if you’re having drinkies with brunch, then their cocktails are pretty darn good!
