Poached Breakfast Cafe Rawai
If you’re trekking near Nai Harn, then make sure your first journey is straight to Poached Breakfast Cafe Rawai. Who wants to walk miles and miles in this heat, without a stomach full of yumminess and energy to burn? You’d be crazy not to get some scrummy grub to start your day before your adventures? Before we show you the best places to go trekking near Nai Harn, we need to show you some of our brekkie and lunch dishes, it’d be rude not to.
Our cafe is in a top location, bang in the middle of the main strip at Rawai. Nai Harn is just a short walk away, through the windy jungle roads. We’re sat only a few metres from the front of a beautiful white sand beach. Peer out over the turquoise blue ocean through the canopy of the trees from our snug cafe. Our huge windows make you feel like you’re one with the beach while you chill out in the safety of our fresh air-conditioning. We have snug booths and spacious seating to make you feel right at home. Most importantly though, our Aussie-inspired menu is full of some options that are way too good to pass up on.
Check out our mega brekkie fry-up, ‘Big Al’s Brekkie Eggs’ will certainly keep you going for the whole day. Everyone loves a fry-up in the morning! We load the plate with a generous serving of the tastiest breakfast flavours; a zingy chorizo, crispy bacon, hash browns with a perfect crunch, soft, juicy mushrooms and a yummy tomato bush relish. It’s seriously yummy!
If you’re one for classic breakfast dishes then make sure you try our bacon & egg roll. It’s got a special twist to it and it’s unbelievably good. Our soft, fluffy bread roll is packed with bacon cooked perfectly, runny fried eggs, a thick cut of melty cheddar cheese and some sweet caramelised onions. How good does that sound?
The ‘Pulled Pork Eggs Benny’ is from another planet though, it’s our signature dish and loved among our best fans (you know who you are). We make our sourdough in-house and top it with some tender, slow-cooked pulled pork shoulder which is caped in some velvety apple cider hollandaise. We combine it with 2 creamy poached eggs, crunchy green apple slices and some sweet pomegranate. It’s the perfect combo of flavours, it doesn’t get much better than that.
Veggie lovers, we’ve not forgotten about you either. We have a tonne of lush veggie dishes and they don’t get much better than the ‘Classic Avocado Smash’. Fresh, buttery smashed avo is spread onto our yummy sourdough. It’s topped with crumbly, salty feta, 2 silky poached eggs and juice-filled roasted heirloom cherry tomatoes. If you can avoid the food coma, then you’re all set energy-wise for your big day out!
We also have a massive selection of coffee on offer. We’re the place to supply you with that all-important caffeine hit to start your day, which is imperative if you’re going to go trekking near Nai Harn. If you love some froth in your coffee then we have some great options, our cappuccinos top that list. You might fancy a milky latte too, or a classic hand-pressed brew. With our milk alternatives and syrup options, we have something to please everyone.
We told you, it would’ve been rude to miss out on telling you about our top-notch cafe. So, all that’s left is for you to come and check us out!
Promthep Cape
Nai Harn Lake all the way to Promthep Cape is one of the best spots to go trekking near Nai Harn. It’s pretty hilly, but the windy roads underneath the jungle palm trees are what Instagram dreams are made of. The trek takes around 90 minutes and on the way, you’ll get some incredible aerial views over the ocean off of the southern tip of the island. They’re some of the nicest views you’ll find in Phuket.
Nui Beach
Trekking to Nui Beach from Nai Harn Beach is really fun. Once you leave Nai Harn, you’re faced with wonderful views from the rock face and then a walk on the roads into the deep jungle. Warning: you might see some monkeys, so make sure you put your snacks away and strap your camera to yourself. Nui beach is stunning and not busy at all; white sand and waves that are fun, but not too big.
Black Rock Viewpoint
Black Rock Viewpoint is quite simply stunning. It’s one of the highest points on the island and looks out over the jungle and beaches of the south and out into the horizon of the Andaman Ocean. It’s one of those viewpoints that’s a lot of effort to get up to but is so worth it once you’ve done it, besides, the journey up to it is half the adventure. It’ll definitely go down in your memories as one of the coolest places you’ve been to in Phuket.
