Want another Rawai restaurant to try? Check these out!
So, you’ve already hit up Poached Breakfast Cafe Rawai for breakfast? No worries, we get if you don’t want to visit the same place in one day (although no one would blame you if you did). We’ve got a whole host of recommendations for those of you looking for another Rawai restaurant to try.
Woodstock Rawai
Woodstock Rawai is big on vibes and on flavour. It’s definitely a must try when you’re looking for a chilled out Rawai restaurant. Garden seating, relaxing atmosphere, and even lawn chairs can be found – it definitely feels like a little throwback to the good old Woodstock days. But, we can’t talk about a restaurant without talking food and Woodstock certainly throw a curveball when it comes to food. Unexpectedly, they serve amazing poke bowls, sushi and sashimi.
Don’t worry if you’re not a fish lover, with different types of gyoza and ramen that are packed with a flavourful punch, you will love. Don’t forget to try their steaks too – they are melt in your mouth good. Woodstock also do a killer Western style breakfast and brunch with eggs benedict, bagels, smoothie bowls and eggs your way. There aren’t a huge range of choices but they do what they have really well. It’s really popular with expats and is definitely worth a try!
Avo Kitchen & Wine
Avo Kitchen & Wine is a wine bar first and a kitchen second, if we are honest. But wow oh wow is it beautiful inside. Hanging lights, moody vibes inside, back lit wine cases, boho decor and great music choices. The huge arching windows only add to the gorgeous design and atmosphere inside. You feel like you could be sitting in a Greek taverna on a beautiful little Cycladic island.
So, let’s talk food. The Thai dishes are stellar and absolutely full of flavour. The pastas are hand made and they do seafood really well here. We are personally not a huge fan of the chicken dishes – you know when things taste too…’chicken-y’? That being said, they have wonderful drinks, a stunning atmosphere and some solid seafood dishes. Plus their all day breakfast is not to be scoffed at and neither is their burrata salad – yum. This one is definitely a smart choice when it comes to looking for a Rawai restaurant.Â
Mirage Restaurant & Cafe
Mirage Restaurant & Cafe is another visually beautiful Rawai restaurant that will leave you a little in awe of your surroundings. Woven rattan chairs, plush tub sofas, moody emerald booths and foliage all around you, this Rawai Restaurant SCREAMS elegance and sophistication. A little more of a date spot or a great choice for lunch with the girls, we never fail to stop and grab a thousand insta shots when we visit. They even have live music nights that you’re sure to love.
Now on to the food! This cafe primarily serves Russian style food but it’s worth writing home about for sure! They’ve got some wonderful charcuterie boards to choose from, a great range of salads, pastas and bruchettas, dumplings, savoury pancakes, soups and some wonderful meat and fresh fish dishes. If you’re a fan of Russian fare with some luscious decor, this is the place for you.
La Salada Tapas
A cosy, intimate Rawai restaurant, La Salada Tapas might specialise in little plates (tapas) but what they lack in size, they make up for in flavour. They have a range of delicious toastas, we love the brie, onion and honey or the goat cheese and tomato jam. Check out their chorizo croquetas: light, crispy and packed with creamy, salty goodness.
Our favourite dish has to be, without a doubt, THE PAELLA. They do it so well, crispy bottom, full of juicy flavour and jammed with the freshest seafood. Try pairing it with the patatas bravas – the most delicious potato side dish you’ll ever try. It makes French fries cry with embarrassment. Trust us, it won’t disappoint.
