We’re an Aussie style breakfast cafe with a Melbourne inspired menu right on the beachfront of Rawai. We’ve got an amazing view of the calm ocean, slender palm trees, bobbing long tail boats, local fishermen and stunning little islands dotted around. It’s common to see tuk tuks and local merchants driving past in their 3 wheeled mopeds, just a glimpse of the laid back island life that can be found in Rawai.
We pride ourselves on cosiness with our dark leather booths and comfortable chairs inside. There is outdoor seating with spectacular ocean views and overhead fans to keep you cool in the warmer seasons (so…basically all the seasons?). Rawai View

They’ve even got 3 separate levels. The upper level gives you a beautiful panoramic view of Rawai beach and its coastline. The mid level has a fun vibe and big nets for you to sit on that overlook the water. The lower level is directly on the beach, with beautiful beach swings, comfortable seats, the water right next to you and a pizza oven for the very best pizzas. With a tiki bar vibe, this place is the perfect choice for a sunset ocean view in Rawai.
Laem Promthep
Laem Promthep is possibly the most famous sunset ocean view in Rawai. It’s a little more built up than some of the other viewpoints, with a dedicated entrance, monument and some places of worship. But wow, oh wow, the sunset here is truly spectacular. The palm trees and the cotton candy coloured sky against the backdrop of the turquoise sea is absolutely stunning. This is a must see for those who are visiting Phuket.
Windmill Viewpoint
Windmill Viewpoint is another great ocean view in Rawai. This one is a little less known than Laem Promthep but offers some pretty gorgeous views of the sea. There is a small concrete shelter which is welcome during the rainy months and when you need to sit in the shade for a minute. If you get there nice and early, you’ll likely have the place to yourself and be able to enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks and breathe in the beautiful islands and coastline you will see around you.
Black Rock Viewpoint
For those of you who like your ocean view in Rawai to come with a side of a big ol’ hike, Black Rock Viewpoint is the one for you. Make sure you pack enough water and snacks to sustain you and we’d personally recommend a hat and sunscreen too! This requires quite an advanced walk to reach the viewpoint but it sure is worth it. It’s a beautiful jungle walk leading to grassy knolls and the most spectacular view you will see!
