They’ve also got some pastries you can grab if you’re feeling a little munchy too. Their iced caramel macchiato is a solid choice if you like your coffee sweet and creamy. For those of you who love a more savoury coffee, try their iced latte or iced Americano. Yes Coffee is the chief of iced drinks. They’ve got some chocolatey iced drinks, a high quality affogatto that is creamy and delicious and all sorts of refreshing sugary drinks topped with cream. Their iced coffees are also pretty decent, served in these oversized glass mugs and packed full of flavour. Our go to order here is the iced mocha which goes well with their yummy crepes and cakes. Zurich Bread Cafe Rawai
Zurich Bread is a chain cafe that can be found all over the island and for that reason, it’s a good option if you’re not sure where else to go. It’s like McDonalds – you know what you’re going to get and you know what you like there. They do make some delicious fresh bread so don’t forget to grab some while you’re there. We always personally order the apple crumble Danish – it’s delicious and homey.
Coffee-wise, look they probably don’t win awards for the best iced latte in Rawai but they serve solid coffee that is dependable and reliable. You know what you’re going to get here. It’s clean and tidy and the bathrooms are safe, plus it has air conditioning. It’s a safe choice for you if you’re out and about.
La Tarte Dorée
La Tarte Dorée is a French bakery that really shines when it comes to pastries. It’s got country-chic decor and delicious classic French pies, tarts, pain au raisin, cakes and more. We personally are a little obsessed with their fruit tarts which are homey and full of flavour. They’ve got a range of iced drinks and juices to choose from. Their chocolate banana frappe and coffee frappe are some of the best around. Not your usual iced coffee in Rawai but definitely worth a visit if you’re up Soi Sai Yuan way.
